 - try to work around solaris kernel bugs that keep mtu discovery
   from working:  under solaris, always assume 1500 byte mtu unless
   user tells us otherwise via -m flag.

 - suggestion from jhawk to detect fragmentation: look for IP_MF
   bit in original header buried in icmp then print error msg &
   bail if it's set.

 - spelling correction from jhawk.
